Terms of Service

These terms apply when you download and use the Beauty Blend iOS app. Please read them before you start.

1. Agreement to these terms

By downloading, installing or using Beauty Blend, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the developer of Beauty Blend, and “you” means the person using the app.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement and explains how your data is handled.

2. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non exclusive, non transferable and revocable licence to install and use Beauty Blend on Apple devices that you own or control, in line with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.

This licence covers using the app for its intended purpose, including commercial use in your own beauty business. The app itself, along with its name, design, artwork and underlying software, remains our property. You may not:

  • Copy, sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the app.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Remove or alter any copyright or ownership notices in the app.
  • Use the app’s name or branding to suggest we endorse you or your business without our written permission.

3. Pro subscription

Beauty Blend is free to download and includes its core features at no cost. An optional Pro subscription unlocks additional features, such as batch export.

Price and billing

  • Pro costs $9.99 per year. There is a single yearly plan and no monthly option.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Prices are shown in your local currency where Apple supports it, and may vary by region and by applicable tax.

Automatic renewal

The subscription renews automatically each year unless you turn off auto renewal. Apple charges the renewal to your Apple ID within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the then current price.

How to cancel

Your subscription is managed entirely through Apple, not through us. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Beauty Blend, and choose to cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Pro features stay available until that date, and you are not charged again after it. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription on its own.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. You can request one through Apple’s support site.

4. Your photos and your content

You keep full ownership of your photos and of everything you create in Beauty Blend. We claim no ownership of, and no licence to, your images, your projects or your exported files.

Because the app stores everything locally on your device, we never receive a copy of your content. We cannot view it, use it, promote with it, or recover it for you if it is lost. Backing up your work is your responsibility, and the app includes a backup feature for that purpose.

You are responsible for keeping your device and your backups secure, and for holding the rights to any image you bring into the app.

If you photograph a client, you are responsible for obtaining that client’s consent before you use, publish, post or otherwise share their image, including on social media.

Consent requirements vary by country, state and profession, and some places require it in writing. Beauty Blend gives you the tools to create and export an image, but it does not obtain permission on your behalf and does not verify that you have it. That responsibility rests entirely with you, and you agree to comply with the laws and professional rules that apply where you work.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Beauty Blend to:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation.
  • Create or share images of a person without the permission you need to do so.
  • Produce content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit involving minors.
  • Infringe anyone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Misrepresent results in a way that deceives clients or breaches advertising rules in your industry.
  • Interfere with the app’s operation, or attempt to bypass its subscription controls.

7. Availability and changes

We may update Beauty Blend to add, change or remove features, to fix problems, or to keep it working with new versions of iOS. We may also discontinue the app. If we do, your locally stored projects remain on your device, and we recommend exporting or backing up anything you want to keep.

Some updates may require a newer version of iOS or a newer device. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the version of these terms in force at that time.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Beauty Blend is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every device or iOS version, or that it will meet your particular business requirements. You use it at your own risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Beauty Blend. That includes loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, and loss or corruption of your photos, projects or backups.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose, which for most users is either nothing or the price of one yearly subscription.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Termination

You may stop using Beauty Blend at any time by deleting it from your device. Remember that deleting the app also deletes the projects stored inside it, and that it does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in your Apple ID settings.

We may suspend or end your licence to use the app if you materially breach these terms. Sections covering ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and your responsibility for client consent survive the end of this agreement.

11. Apple as a third party

These terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple is a third party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service, and any conflict between those rules and these terms is resolved in favour of Apple’s rules on matters Apple governs.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to flag it, for example in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use Beauty Blend after a change means you accept the revised terms.
